Once, a few years back, I had a decent website. I took care of the art and the content and I even became so confident of it, I started moving all my social content on it. Then terrible things occurred and I could not keep my site up. My hosting service deleted everything and I never got a chance to rescue my content. In the midst of all that, the little bit of backup I had accomplished, my newest external hard drive, had a head crash and I have been unable to recover anything.
Now, I have had Indigo Grove up for a while. I use it for my dev work, but my main site is crap. I had lost the will to update my own stuff and I have been regretting it. With this post, I hope to initiate a new look and feel and proudly display my work.
What you will find in my archives is nearly everything I was able to recover. My crafting posts from Blogger and my Fiction from LiveJournal will have categories marking them as such.
I will work in building this site up a little more and designing what I can.
That being said, I am a developer, not a designer. I can take client artwork and make it into a full HTML5 and CSS3 wonder with JavaScript actions. I can make WordPress Themes from ideas, both from scratch (not recommended if you want functionality at low cost) and with themes and plugins (pricey, but way more functional and cool). I also work with some databases, such as mySQL, Mongo and Firestore, and some backend server-side programming. I can do basic editing of videos and I enjoy working with artwork of various sorts, again basic since I am not a designer or graphic artist, but what I do is decent. I am not a copy writer, but I can edit well enough for promotional print and SEO.
This website is called Indigo Grove Web Development Team. I am not alone working on projects. I have several people I can tap the talents of and together we have made good projects for private clients. The talents I can tap include, programmers in various languages, game developers, ruby on rails experts, React programmers, and many more backend server and client side tools and techniques are at our disposal.
The one thing we lack is a Designer of websites and graphics. We do not make enough to hire one at this time, but we do recommend you have your designer talk to with us if you would like our skills.
Unless you are looking for basic UI and ‘just ok’ UX.
